We review what can be considered some very beautiful DDR4 memory intended for the Ryzen platform, of course from G. It's available in multiple frequencies and timings, we test the MHz kit Hilbert HagedoornSep 25, So they renamed the B-die sammies NEO? This is the same as my Trident Z kit I have Your P numbers are much higher that the numbers in the x review.
Whats the story on that? Loophole35Sep 25, RoboionatorSep 25, This Neo line is overpriced rgb stuff. Flare x is better and less expensive.
Paulo NarcisoSep 25, The timings on this ram kit are looser than my girlfriend Robbo likes this. Roboionatorr Should not be an issue.
NetherwindSep 25, Could you try four modules of and to see if it is true that they go better than two modules? I don't get the 7zip results in this review Last edited: Sep 26, Mine will only stay stable to about MHz. I mean I don't think AMD guaranteed that fabric will run at maximum speed did they? So I presume for average Joe Soap, if XMP profile fails they are more or less screwed and would have to return the kit to shop - not everyone likes manually hacking in memory sub-timings!
It doesn't. Im running ram, and IF is at ZXRazielSep 28, ZXRaziel maybe for you. Last edited: Sep 29, You must log in or sign up to reply here. Show Ignored Content.Nyrstar us inc

Pros: MHz of overclockable memory at cl Also less pricy then the Samsung variant. Being able to overclock it to cl16 is great. RGB goodness'. Overall Review: I barely use more than 20gb but I'm pretty sure I'll be using more in the future.
Pros: There are so many prosnumber one is that the rgb's went perfectly with the build. Have no time to get up to do anything will explain. I am a performance addict and even though the memory is only clocked at mhz I could not leave it at that so I bumped it up to mhz and it is as smooth as it can be and as stable as if I bought a mhz kit.
Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone that asksthe kind of performance I am getting out of it is way beyond the value. Pros: Works well in my project. All the speed that I need. I don't overclock. Overall Review: Overall great product and perfectly suited for my plain vanilla application. I tend to be very Chrome Tab heavy and it can affect gaming if you have to go to pagefile.
Overall Review: Price has gone up since I bought it at Pros: - As someone who contended with 16 gB for the longest time, but did some pretty RAM intensive software and games, being able to have the room to spare was a pretty major blessing! Cons: - You need an XMP profile - It's possible you'll need a firmware update on your motherboard - It RGBs, which may not be desirable, or it may even be wasted if you don't have a computer to show it off with.
Still works great. And as far as value of equivalent amounts of RAM at equivalent speeds, this was one of the best prices - though can't guarantee that'll keep.
Pros: Rgb is def nice to the eyes. Cons: Wish they worked better with RGBfusion. Overall Review: The ram is very fast and the white part is brushed aluminum. Overall Review: Works great and looks great. View All Seller's Reviews. The following guidelines apply to all product categories unless otherwise indicated within specific categories.
G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4x8GB Review: DDR4-3600 For AMD X570
Back To Combo. If the need arises that you need to purchase more RAM for an older system, or you are building a new one, it never fails that G. SKILL is one of the top three names to come out for advice. From what we have gathered in the many sets of memory already provided by G. SKILL, we have seen superior styling in all the lineups, and if you are the type to go high-end, the TridentZ series has something for every build.
Another huge advantage to a company such as G. Those of you who are G.Quint rt reshade
Following where the trends may take them, G. Unlike many others, G. Of course, these kits also have Aura Sync support, which means ASUS motherboard users can use their software to change the LEDs on the kit to a multitude of patterns, sync them to the motherboard, or set them to the desired color all of the time.
The choice is yours to do as you wish, with very little as far as limitations are concerned. Voltage also fluctuates per set, as the lower speed kits can use 1.
All of the TridentZ are sent out with a lifetime warranty, and if the past is any indicator, based on high-end memory ICs, there should be some fun to be had for those who like to raise the speed or reduce the timings. There is a clear window near the top to show what is inside of the box, and we also find indications to the ASUS Aura Sync and Intel compatibility.
Inside of the box, we found the RAM to be packaged without much care, and there is visible wear marks on the black brushed heat spreaders.
At first glance, the TridentZ RGB almost look identical to the standard TridentZ with white tops, but this time the plastic accent piece is slightly opaque. This side of the RAM sticks are black, the metal heat spreader is brushed in texture, at the left is the G.
The opposite side of the sticks is very similar to the first side we looked at, but this time the color of the heat spreader is gray. The juice for gamefowl
It is also on this side where we find the product stickers. There is a hologram on the left, the model number tops the sticker, and we see that the XMP 2. The business end of the TridentZ memory is the top edges, where we can see both the gray and the black fins raising above the plastic center accent piece.
So, everyone who sees them knows, G. The kit is at MHz with its rated timings, using 1. Using all of the tricks of the trade to try and lower the timings for this kit, we found that they bottomed out atno matter if we raised the VDIMM to 1. We do not have an image showing the speed increase, simply because we found no ability to do so.
Of course, this memory is the fastest set we have tested on this system but left alone, or with the timings lowered, the TridentZ RGB is in the lead by a wide margin.Jbl free right earbud not charging
The less time it takes to run Super Pi 32M, the better it is for the memory being tested. RealBench seems to be the equalizer, as the gaps from kit to kit are marginal at best. However, while using the XMP profile, the TridentZ kit is outshined by many slower sets of memory in the chart. It wasn't until we lowered the timings that we got the results we were expecting from the XMP profile. The attractive heat spreaders will also dress up their build, along with bringing a speed increase.
After all, filling every niche can be a great way to set your brand apart from competitors. And sometimes optimization really can make a difference. Enter G.Ul design u411
The first thing we noticed about the new modules is the modified heat spreader design that has a diagonal line separating the black anodized and bright silver portions, whereas the former Trident-Z RGB had a vertical crease. The clean split in color comes from the silver portion being inlaid atop a recess in the black portion. In the fight for control between G. Every time we set a different mode in the G. So why install G. The Trident Z Neo takes second place in memory overclocking on our board, when relying only upon relaxed primary timings to reach DDR We still see some benefit to running DDR C16, but barely.
Facing similar constraints in each of our new benchmarks, we reverted to our old 7-Zip workload to show that yes, DDR really does perform better. The only problem for G. Skill has a leg up on availability that will likely be the deciding factor for many builders, as the lower-priced competing kit that we used can currently only be purchased in packs of two.
That upcharge is even more pronounced for the competing Corsair modules, where yet another premium is tacked on for the modules having more RGB channels and brighter RGBsand still another so that fewer buyers of a lower-volume product can bear the cost of development. Falling in the middle of that price scaling mess and offering a competent performance package in the process, the C16 version of Trident Z Neo DDR is a competent kit.

Built with the powerful Samsung B-die component, this is the perfect DDR4 memory kit for those looking to push the limits of memory bandwidth on your new AMD Ryzen platform. At this point, it's well-known that memory performance with the new AMD Ryzen processor series is best when Infinity Fabric being tied to the memory clock at a ratio.

The G. Skill G. That tRAS tho It's literally the same chips. Did they mention how many kidneys it will cost? Totally not worth it. It seems to vary by board and even BIOS. Most boards will flip around Wavetrex Did they mention how many kidneys it will cost? I noticed quite a difference between CL14 and CL I the screenshot there is the voltage for mhz defined at 1.
I have a G. Skill mhz CL16 kit, which runs at 1. There is a high probability to hit the same speed and timing when I go to 1. You'll have to manually set it for and above. But at stock voltage, it most likely crashes afteror fails to boot completely. I wouldn't do it though, that's a 14nm die that contains the IF and Memory controllers, it might not like the extra voltage. You have a high probability of being unstable even if you post, just FYI.
I've done a lot of testing recently. At this point, it's well-known that memory performance with the new AMD Ryzen processor series is best when Infinity Fabric being tied to the memory clock at a ratio Isn't it also well-known that you get best results when using just two sticks of RAM? Wondering how is the expansion card compatibility on X motherboards. On my Intel systems, card works fine. All tech review sites whenever they test motherboards, they only propably test graphics cards on them.
If they work, five star score given for PCIe card compatibility. Don't worry about it, these things are compatible enough. It's just that Zen was a little finicky at first i.
Wondering how is the expansion card compatability on X motherboards. If they work, five star score given for PCIe card compatability. How is this related to DRAM? How does this even DRAM related?

I am in the process of putting together a parts list for a new build and need some advice on memory. Processor will be X. Trouble being, G. Skill is not on the QVL for that spec.
Do you think it is worth a gamble or should I just spring for the CL14 kit? Thanks in advance, Steve. Tags: None. Comment Post Cancel. Lower latency ram is always a better choice for AMD or any system.
But if it was me I would shell out a little more money and get the better-binned ram. I'm not sure what TechyMike is talking about. There is no "X" in their SKU numbers as well. All my G. Skill works fine with AMD. Except the RGB controlling. It is complete garbage. There is no delay in the boot or getting into the bios. I will wait for you to clarify what you mean. Have not figured out the problem but thinking that it is the memory kit as mine is G.Рынок материнских плат x570. Платы которые я могу порекомендовать.
Last edited by TechyMike ;AM. Fair enough. I will read up on it and see what is going on. As a side note.Extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals specialist G. Skill has released some new super-fast memory modules as part of its Trident Z Neo series. The G. We don't have pricing for the new 3,MHz kits but the previously fastest G. You will probably be paying a premium on those prices, of course, when the 3,MHz kits start showing up at retailers and etailers.
And on the 7th day God had an epileptic seizure from all the meth and RGB.
I've had too much to drink. I'm going to bed. Posted by Glyce - Fri 02 Aug Is there a heterosexual version of these sticks? Posted by Hoonigan - Fri 02 Aug I can't help but think that memory manufacturers have been crying out for AMD or Intel to drop something which can genuinely take advantage of faster memory.
